MigraTeck LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates the Pale mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

Account Information: When you register, we collect your phone number to verify your identity via SMS one-time passcode (OTP). We do not require your name, email, or other personal details to create an account.
Profile Information: You may optionally provide a display name and profile photo.
Messages & Media: We transmit text messages, voice messages, images, videos, and files that you send through the Service. Voice messages and media are stored on our servers to enable delivery.
Usage Data: We collect anonymized analytics data such as app opens, feature usage, and crash reports to improve the Service.
Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system version, and language settings for compatibility and performance optimization.

- To send OTP verification codes via SMS

3. SMS & OTP Messages
We use your phone number solely for account verification. We send one-time passcodes via SMS when you register or log in. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages. Standard messaging rates from your carrier may apply.
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message received from us.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: We use Telnyx for SMS delivery. Your phone number is shared with them solely for OTP delivery.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or governmental request.
- Safety: We may share information to protect rights, safety, or property of users or the public.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Messages are retained on our servers for delivery purposes. You may delete your account at any time, which will remove your profile and associated data from our systems.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), secure server infrastructure, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
8. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.
